Arcade Fire continue to build excitement ahead of their hugely-anticipated studio album Everything Now, which will drop July 28 via Columbia. The Grammy winners have expanded their Infinite Content Tour to include a handful of 2018 shows in the United Kingdom and Ireland. The Canuck indie-rockers unveiled the news via an update on their official Facebook page on Thursday (July 20). The dates follow an announcement earlier this month of a tour of South America and previously-announced tours of Europe and North America.
The shows will be performed in a more intimate “in the round” setting. The mini-tour comes on the heels of the “Reflektor” hitmaker’s hugely successful string of concerts in the U.K. earlier this month, which included a two-night stand at London’s York Hall.
The spring trek will kick off on April 6, 2018 in Dublin at 3Arena. The U.K. run will make numerous big city stops, including a two-night stand in London, as well as shows in Manchester and Birmingham before wrapping up on April 16, 2018 at Glasgow’s SSE Hydro.
Tickets will go on sale to the public on sale to the public on Fri., July 28 at 9 a.m. BST. For details and tickets for all the new UK dates, visit AXS.
Recorded at Sundragon Studios in New York, Everthing Now is the 10-time Juno winners’ fifth studio album and features 13 tracks, including the self-titled lead single. It is available for preorder here in various editions in CD, digital, vinyl and cassette formats.
Arcade Fire will host a series of listening parties for the upcoming release in New York, Los Angeles, London, Paris and Berlin, after which they’ll head back to North America for a run of summer dates, kicking off with a headline appearance Aug. 6 in Chicago at Lollapalooza. The North American leg will wrap up with two-night stand Nov. 3 – Nov. 4 in Toronto at Air Canada Centre. Tickets for a wide variety of Arcade Fire dates are available at AXS.
